Carrot Prosciutto Wraps

This is my husband’s favorite appetizer and I love to make them this time of year. The hardest step is standing in line at the deli counter in Central Market.

Ingredients:

  • Thinly Sliced Imported Prosciutto
  • Carrots
  • Balsamic Vinegar

Directions:

  • Shred carrots.
  • Mix carrots with vinegar until the carrots are well coated but not saturated.
  • Place a stack of shredded carrots on the end of a slice of prosciutto and roll it up.

Saw something similar on the Food Network and wondered if they would be good. So pleased you tried them and liked them. They look easy to make, healthy, colorful and I love the basalmic vinegar on the carrots.

What a great idea! I bet you could use different deli meats and fillings for some creative appetizers. Thanks for sharing!

I am always amazed at the versatility of proscuitto-It can be wrapped in almost anything, and with that slightly salty taste ,it just lends itself to bringing food up another notch.

Your wrapped carrots look so delicious. Love it!

Wow Cassie, this sure looks soo delish. Ah, only if they made vegan Prosciutto--do they? If so, I'd love to try.

Presentation is fabulous btw.

Well, if that's not the simplest thing... I love it. And it looks delicious. Bet the balsamic vinegar makes all the difference here.
